KINGSFORD SMITH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
- Flights to Sydney will land at the Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport.
- This is Australia’s busiest airport and the oldest commercial airport in the world!
- Airfare to Sydney is expensive if you take first class seats.
- However, you can get cheap flights to Sydney by taking economy class seats at lower prices.
- You could also get cheaper flights if you book on days when airlines charge less money.
GETTING AROUND THE CITY
- To get to the different parts of the city, the best ride to take is the suburban train.
- It requires a Gate Pass, which sells for $10.00 in addition to a ticket ($6.00).
- However, the train can be crowded, so you can take other transportation such as a local bus or a taxi (these don’t require a Gate Pass).
- Local transport bus costs $4.00.
- Taxis can cost around $20 to $25 depending on your destination.
- If you're planning to stay in Sydney for a shorter amount of time, it is recommended that you rent a car.
- This will decrease some of the fees you may have to pay during your stay in Sydney.
- The rental car will be available for your own use at a destined parking space, where you can return it afterwards.
