Term 2 - Alex MacLEan
reflection
This is one of the most compelling photos taken by Alex MacLean. He took the photo from a bird's eye range to capture the interesting lines and waves of the landmark. The photo is asymmetrical and somewhat follows the Rule of Thirds, since the lines break up the image into sections. The center of interest is all throughout the photograph. A viewer's eyes will tend to look all over the place while admiring it, the texture and lines created by the crevices of the landmark. This photo is horizontal, which allows the viewer(s) to see a large portion of the landmark. MacLean's photo is very original since not many people have the opportunity or capabilities of capturing a photo of this quality (shooting from a helicopter).
